Instructions
Step 1: Download the Budget Monthly Template
Click the "Download" button or link for the budget overview template. Save the .xlsx file to your computer.
Step 2: Edit the Template
- Open the downloaded file in Microsoft Excel.
- Enter the projected and actual values for balance, expenses, and income.
- The "Difference" column will calculate automatically.
- Input data for "Income 1," "Income 2," and "Extra Income."
- Customize the Actual Expenses Chart:
- Enter detailed expense data to update the bar chart automatically.
Step 3: Customize the Design
- Use the Home tab to modify font sizes, styles, or colors to fit your personal or company branding.
- Replace the default house graphic with your preferred image or logo, if desired.
Step 4: Print or Save the Template
- Open File > Print in Excel.
- Check the Print Preview to ensure all sections and charts are properly aligned.
- Set the page orientation to Landscape for better layout.
- Save the file as a PDF if you need to share it digitally.
- Select your printer and press Print if a hard copy is required.
