Instructions
Step 1: Download the Personal Monthly Budget Template
- Click the "Download" button or link for the personal monthly budget template.
- Save the .xlsx file to your computer.
Step 2: Edit the Template
- Locate the downloaded file on your device and double-click it to open in Microsoft Excel.
- Fill in the "Expenses List" table with details, including the date, amount, and a brief description of each expense.
- Populate the "Income List" table with your income details, such as date, amount, and description of the source (e.g., paycheck, side job).
- The template will automatically calculate your total expenses, income, and balance and display the results in the summary section.
- Adjust the colors or fonts using the Home tab to personalize the look.
- Add extra rows to track additional expenses or income if necessary.
Step 3: Print the Template
- Open File > Print in Excel.
- Check the Print Preview to ensure all data and charts fit neatly on the page.
- Set the orientation to Portrait or Landscape based on the layout.
- Confirm the paper size (typically A4 or Letter).
- Select your printer and click Print.
