Newsletter Maker

The Newsletter Maker turns a few paragraphs into a finished, print-ready page without a desktop publishing program. Pick a layout, type the newsletter name and issue line, write a lead story and a second story, and add short sidebar items — upcoming dates, reminders, a table of contents or a family roll call — one per line. Upload a photo and it appears in the photo box in the preview, the print and the PDF — cropped to fill the box or shown whole, at the size you choose — and the picture never leaves your browser. Choose an accent colour and the header bands, rules, tints and labels update to match.

Each style places the same eight fields differently: the Classroom and Company layouts use two columns, Community uses three, Minimal pairs a wide column with a narrow sidebar, Family adds two photo boxes, and Modern builds the page from bold colour blocks. Every style except Classroom has a photo box; empty, it prints as a dashed frame you can paste a picture onto. Everything is sized for a single sheet of US letter paper in portrait, and "Save as PDF" in the print dialog gives you a file to email to parents, staff, members or relatives.

Click Email HTML to download a self-contained HTML version of your newsletter, rebuilt as a 600-pixel email layout with every style inlined so it renders in Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail and the rest. Paste it into the "code your own" editor in Mailchimp, Brevo, Constant Contact or HubSpot, or open the file in your browser, select all, copy and paste it straight into a new message. Copy HTML puts the same code on your clipboard. Two-column sections stack on phones. A photo you uploaded is embedded in the file, and an empty photo box is left out so nothing arrives as an empty frame. Apple Mail, Outlook and Thunderbird display embedded photos; Gmail and most webmail hide them, so for a mailing list upload the picture in your email tool and swap it in.
